Dr. Sara Kim Joins the Lab as Postdoctoral Researcher

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Sara Kim to the Yanan Lab as a Postdoctoral Researcher!

Sara completed her PhD at Stanford University under Prof. Chad Mirkin, where she developed DNA-functionalization strategies for precise nanoparticle positioning. She brings deep expertise in DNA origami, electron microscopy, and optical spectroscopy.

At Westfield, Sara will lead projects on DNA-directed assembly of plasmonic superstructures and stimuli-responsive nanomaterials for cancer therapy. We look forward to the exciting science ahead!
